What is a Trio?

Three of anything, in this case, improv comedians.

What is a Tournament?

A series of competitive performances culminating in a victor.

When & Where will the Trios Tournament occur?

Thursday, October 5th-Saturday, October 7th at 9:30pm at The Bird Comedy Theater, 103 W. 19th St. KCMO 64108

How will the tournament work?

Over three nights, trios will compete at The Bird Comedy Theater for audience votes. Thursday, October 5th & Friday, October 6th will serve as our preliminary rounds, the top teams from each night moving on to compete in our final round on Saturday, October 7th.

What do the winners get?

Glory, a cut of the door from all 3 nights, a future performance opportunity & shiny medals.

Any prerequisites?

Not really, though we do encourage completion of Long Form Improv.

So just any old jerk can sign-up and make it weird for everyone?

No, that's absurd. We will be filling out the tournament bracket on a first come, first serve basis, but we (The Bird Comedy Theater) reserve the right to pass on submissions.

I wanna compete, but I don't have a full trio!

A great place to fill out a team will be our Open Jam, every Thursday @ 7:30pm! Barring that, we (The Bird Comedy Theater) will connect those in need of more people, just sign up as an individual or group or two on the form!
